Product Description
LG and budget smartphones have always had their love-hate relationship. We’re yet to see a top-drawer affordable smartphone from the company. The Aristo 2 seemed like it would finally break through that barrier and much to our expectation, this lowly costing smartphone (at Rs. 10,000) is packed with superb features for its price.Entry-level build quality but good display
To expect entry-level smartphones to house excellent build quality is kind of an impossible task at the moment. The Aristo 2 features a whole plastic body that is synonymous with its price tag while the dimensions standing at an 8.1mm width and 139g weight are pretty good. The display features a 5.0 inches IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen with 294ppi pixel density. Amazingly, you get a 720p resolution atop this bad-boy which breaks a season long tradition that entry-level smartphones just have to support lowly resolutions at 540 or 480p. Kudos to LG for that!
Continuation of good features
The cameras department of the LG Aristo 2 brings good news as the smartphone features a 13 MP primary sensor while the selfie camera features a respectable 5 MP one. Didn’t expect this did you? So didn’t we.The smartphone’s power plant features a quad-core 1.4 GHz processor backed-up by 2 gigs of RAM. A combination of these two would do well to power the slightly older built-in Android Nougat while 16 gigs of internal storage is further good news. A 2410 mAh battery juices the smartphone, an expandable card-slot up to 32 gigs and Black (Titan) colour schemes sum-up this fine entry-level release from LG. Thank God we finally got the opportunity to say that!

Product Description
The thing about having a regular version and a plus-sized version for a smartphone has somewhat crept into the mainstream. Samsung has been making use of this for some time now and the upcoming A6 2018 is partnered with the bigger A6+ 2018 to make sure that the South Korean giants appease both the normal and large screen lovers. Expected launching price for the latter is around Rs. 47,000.
The smartphone’s display features a large 6.0 inches Super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen with 411ppi pixel density. A gorgeous 1080p HD resolution awaits you.\
The smartphone’s width is said to feature a 7.9mm width which is quite acceptable in our opinion. The camera setup imitates the Galaxy S9 with both the camera sensors placed in a vertical manner and the fingerprint scanner placed below the setup. We have our reservations about this design but let’s give it a try first shall we.
Statistically, the primary camera features 16 + 5MP dual sensor while the secondary camera packs a massive punch with a 24MP sensor.
The smartphone features two variants; one being a 64GB internal storage plus 4GB of RAM one while the other features 32GB of internal storage plus 3GB RAM. Bagging a bigger punch that first expected, the smartphone features a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner, 3500 mAh battery plus black, Blue and Gold colour schemes. That should do enough to appease the public!

Designed exactly like the A6 from the front but different from the back
The A6+ 2018 is a bigger version of the A6 2018 with both smartphones featuring near similar designs. The front panel features thick bezels while the back panel is where the difference between the two comes into play with the A6+ featuring antenna bands and a dual camera setup. The smartphone’s display features a large 6.0 inches Super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen with 411ppi pixel density. A gorgeous 1080p HD resolution awaits you.\

Hardware echoes its phablet-size
The Galaxy A6+ 2018 is powered by the Snapdragon 450 chipset. That coupled with the powerful octa-core processor in store, the built-in Android Oreo will enjoy a smooth ride atop the Galaxy A6+ 2018.The smartphone features two variants; one being a 64GB internal storage plus 4GB of RAM one while the other features 32GB of internal storage plus 3GB RAM. Posted in: SAMSUNGSmartphone makers won't give up on fordable screens. Do we really want them?
Samsung and other smartphone makers seem determined to progress with "fordable" screens, a long-discussed feature that could herald the next wave of phone innovation – or another costly mistake.
The pursuit dates at least as far back as 2011, when Samsung revealed an early prototype of its flexible display technology. That Samsung has been working on a flexible phone ever since is by no means a state secret, though the South Korea-based mobile company's chief DJ Koh has kept any roll out plans close to the vest.
On Thursday, The Wall Street Journal, quoting unnamed sources, said Samsung plans to deliver a fordable screen phone early next year. This could mean at or around the time of the annual Mobile World Congress trade show in Barcelona, Spain, in February, after Samsung’s next “Unpacked” press gathering on Aug. 9, where the company is expected to focus on a new Galaxy Note 9.
The Note, and the Galaxy S9 and S9 Plus, represent the two pillars in Samsung’s mobile family. Presumably, a fordable phone based on a flexible OLED screen could create a third flagship category for the smartphone giant.
Samsung told USA TODAY it doesn’t comment on rumors or speculation.
It’s not just Samsung that has a case of the bends. China’s Huawei is racing ahead to produce its own foldable display phone. Richard Yu, Huawei’s CEO of the consumer products group, has confirmed the company has a working prototype and such a phone is likely to be released in 2019. Lenovo-owned Motorola reportedly is developing a fordable phone as well.
Meanwhile, phones with other funky design twists also are coming out of Asia, from such Chinese brands as Oppo and Vivo that are unfamiliar to most American consumers.
Last year, yet another Chinese company, ZTE, started selling the Axon M with two screens. But it was a bulky design with non-flexible displays that were separated by a hinge, so it is very different from what Samsung and others are up to.
Whenever Samsung’s fordable phone is finally in the fold, we’re brought to the question – is this a device consumers will ultimately want, much less need?
The answer depends on the design of the device itself and how well Samsung navigates the oft-fine line between something that’s cool but gimmicky and something that provides genuine utility. All of us would presumably love something that is light and compact enough to carry stash in a pocket or purse, but flexible enough to easily expand when we want to stare at a larger display.
Samsung’s phone, believed to be called the Galaxy X (though it reportedly goes by the internal code name “Winner"), is expected to have around a 7-inch tablet-sized screen. When folded like a wallet, the exterior of the phone will reveal some sort of display on one side and the cameras on the other, the Journal reports.
There’ll be the usual concerns about battery life and durability, of course.
And then there’s the price, which could swell up to $1,500, the Journal says. That would put off many mainstream buyers.
We do know the fordable phone will garner plenty of global attention – with all the swirling rumors it already has.
Smartphone innovation has run smack into a wall the past few years. But now we’re beginning to see hopeful cracks. Apple’s $1,000 iPhone X ditched the Home button in favor of Face ID and new navigational gestures, elevating facial recognition technology. Expect Apple to continue on this path.
We’re starting to see some intriguing, if unproven, smartphone designs out of China. The bezel-free Vivo Nex Android smartphone has a fingerprint sensor embedded in the screen and a selfie-camera that pops out from the top of the device. It also removes the carved out “notch” or black bar that covers up the cameras and sensors on other phones with narrow bezels, such as the iPhone X.
The Find X from Oppo also removes the notch and bezels. Its particular circus act is revealed when you choose to shoot pictures: a concealed motorized tray slides up with the phone’s front and rear cameras.
In the U.S., a maker of high-end cameras for Hollywood RED has announced the RED Hydrogen One smartphone that is billed as the world's first "holographic media machine that fits in your pocket." Images are meant to pop out of a camera – like watching a big-screen 3D movie – but with no glasses. The phone, which will be carried by AT&T and Verizon, is due out in August.
Meantime, you’ll soon be hearing a lot more about handsets capable of exploiting the souped-up 5G speeds coming when the next generation wireless networks are deployed in a few places later this year, with more markets in 2019 and beyond. What that suggests is that even if the handset itself doesn’t carry a fresh or unusual design, a turbocharged performance may change how you use your phone.
Of course, not every attempt at innovation pans out. Google shelved its Project Ara modular phone – the idea was that hardware modules and components could be updated and swapped over time.
LG's own attempts with a modular phone approach met a similar fate.
A telling sign that the Essential Phone developed by Android founder Andy Rubin appears to be barely making a go of it was its $250 price on Amazon Prime Day, half off its regular price. And it used to cost around $700. You were meant to attach a series of modular accessories, but the first of those, a 360-degree camera, is now down to $19. It once was at $199.
Even at that, Motorola is still plugging along with the various snap-on Moto Mods accessories that can transform its Moto Z series smartphones into a projector, boombox, game pad or give it a battery boost.
Bringing out new technologies and features is always a tricky business, and I’m hoping Samsung, Apple, and their rivals continue their pursuit while being mindful of taking things too far.
I was critical of some past Samsung devices for piling on so many features that they felt like parlor tricks – like on 2013’s Galaxy S4 which, among other features, let you wave your hand over pictures in the photo gallery to advance from one shot to the next. It made for a cool demo but I never used the feature in practice.
I praised Samsung when it subsequently toned down the act on future Galaxy devices.
So the onus is on Samsung – and the other companies chasing the future – to strike that difficult balance. If they can pull it off, we might be able to look forward to a fresh period of phones to get excited about.

HTC adopted the change and U12 Plus is going to be their flagship device that we will see in next few days.
Horizon is cleared and we will get clear picture of this smartphone that how HTC U12 Plus is gonna look like. Display also got treatment and instead of ordinary ratio a new ratio display of 18:9 is appointed for the U12 Plus by HTC. Screen size matter a lot in smartphone looks that's why screen size is limited to 6.0 inches and inside QHD Plus resolution is wrapped with special attention so there will be a perfect HTC Plus for you in matter of its display qualities. Product Description
Announced a year after its first comeback model, Nokia is updating the Nokia 6 with the Nokia 6 2018. The Nokia 6 2018 has a few changes, but it still looks mostly the same. Priced comfortably between Rs. 25,000 and Rs. 28,000, depending on the version you purchase, the Nokia 6 2018 is a decent mid ranger with close to stock Android.
Same quality build, but bolder
At first look, there’s not much that distinguishes the two Nokia 6, except if you stare a little longer, you’ll feel like the 2018 version has a bolder and premium look to it. Maybe we can accredit that to the black and gold color option of the new model. The phone is all matte black with gold accents on the outlines of the chassis. This pattern can be seen on every side of the phone. It’s nothing monumental, but aesthetically very pleasing.
Besides the color options, the Nokia 6 2018 has moved the fingerprint scanner to the back of the phone below the cameras. We still have the same 5.5-inch screen up front and front camera above it. On the back we have the same camera setup as well. Also, the Nokia 6 2018 is 0.3mm more thinker than last year’s model and weighs 3g more. Another slight difference, and a welcome one, is that the Nokia 6 2018 now has a micro-USB type C port.
Same old good screen
Why fix what isn’t broken? This seems to sum up Nokia’s decision on the screen of the Nokia 6 2018, since it still sports a 5.5-inch 1080p LCD screen. Naturally, the pixel density remains the same at 403ppi. Surprisingly, the aspect ratio isn’t in line with the new trend of 18:9 displays, since it still has the older 16:9 aspect ratio.
Bothie breaches the affordable segment
The newest thing about the camera on the new Nokia 6 2018 is that it has support for the “Bothie” feature which was previously exclusive to the Nokia 7 and 8. The Bothie feature allows you to take pictures with both your front and back camera at the same time so you’re not left out of group pics. How practical is it is another debate in itself, but the feature is pretty slick.
Other than that, we have the same 8MP camera with an f/2.0 aperture and a 16MP camera on the back, also with an f/2.0 aperture. The main camera has phase detection auto focus and a dual tone-LED flash to accompany it. Both cameras can record up to 1080p at 30 frames per second.
Processor gets justice
The biggest thorn in the side of last year’s Nokia 6 was its older less powerful Snapdragon 430 processor. This year the Nokia 6 is blessed with the Snapdragon 630, all the while keeping its affordable price tag. It still comes in 2 options 32GB/64GB, both having 4GB of RAM. The battery is something we would have loved to see updated, alas it’s still the same 3000mAh cell. Finally, the Nokia 6 2018 ships with Android 7.1.1 Nougat which is very displeasing, however Android 8.0 Oreo is coming to it very soon.
Nokia 6 2018 pros:
It has a lot of RAM – 4GB of it
It has capable cameras and the Bothie feature
Near stock Android with promised fast updates
Quality build and looks
Nokia 6 2018 cons:
Comes with Android 7.1.1 out of the box, an Android version over a year old.
Same old battery capacity

Product Description
For those who’re well-accustomed with the Galaxy S series, they’d easily be able to recall the days of the Galaxy S2 when probably the world’s first power-packed smartphone came up to the podium. As years went by, the South Korean giants kept on cranking up a notch and we finally got to see Samsung releasing two Galaxy S variants with one being a larger and to some extent a more power-packed Galaxy S while its sibling would be the smaller sized variant. At this moment in time, we here at PriceOye are more concerned with the bigger variant of the two, having done a comprehensive specs round-up of the Galaxy S9; we’re undoubtedly talking about the Galaxy S9+ which is poised to command a ransom-like launching price-tag of Rs. 130,000. While the Galaxy S8 and S8+ arguably proved to be the most exciting phones of 2017, it was extremely hard to see how the South Korean giants would improve upon them. They were nearly bezel-less, housed superb hardware that catered well for the demands of the built-in Android Nougat and as always, contained amazing cameras. Surprisingly, they missed-out on dual camera sensors.
The Galaxy S9+follows suit to its predecessor. By that, we mean that the smartphone performs excellently in all aspects but is missing one key element compared to the Galaxy S8+; something new. If you’ve read our round-up of the Galaxy S9’s features, this is something we’ve iterated again and again because we were disappointed to see Samsung doing with their flagships what Apple did theirs when it comes to the iPhone 7 and the iPhone 8; improved hardware, near-similar build and everything else is virtually the same. However, like is the case with Galaxy S9, we’re not in any way degrading the capabilities of the Galaxy S9+ in any fashion. It just lacks something that invention to it.
Premium build materials but gains some weight compared to the S8+
We’ll begin describing the Galaxy S9+ starting with its build quality and design; the smartphone almost completely inherits its looks, build materials and premium-ness from its predecessor, the Galaxy S8+, with almost nothing to choose between the two devices. The only difference between the two is the primary camera setup at its back panel; the S8+ had a sideways panel with a single camera sensor while the S9+ houses a dual-camera sensor in a vertical manner. That’s the only way to tell the difference between the two.Another notable difference between the two Galaxies is the Galaxy S9+ featuring a slightly more curved back glass panel unlike the Galaxy S8. It’s exactly like what you’ve seen on Note devices like the Note 5 adding further premium-ness to an already premium smartphone. Dimensions wise, the S9+ gains a tad compared to its predecessor with an 8.5mm width while also weighing slightly more at 189g without any apparent reason.
Other than that, we’re witnessing IP68 certified dust and waterproofing while both the front and back panel see Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection; exactly what the Galaxy S8+ offered.
An Infinity Display that’s second to none
Time to focus on the display department; as gorgeous as it gets, the Galaxy S9+ promising a display of the highest order was a foregone conclusion. The phablet features an 18.5:9 aspect ratio display, which Samsung likes to call an “Infinity Display”, like the Galaxy S8+, that almost stretches from the very top of the front panel to the very bottom. That means you won’t be getting any major redesigning with the S9+ which is another foregone conclusion with Samsung’s 2018 flagship.Statistically, the display is a large 6.2 inches Super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen with 529ppi pixel density. Unsurprisingly that allows the display to muster-up a 1440p HD resolution that looks absolutely stunning and gorgeous. That has also been made possible by the Corning Gorilla Glass 5 coating atop it. The Always On characteristic of the display ensures that it never sleeps. Any worries related to the S9+’s should’ve been put to rest by now by the stats we just presented above; the display’s arguably the best in the world and it’ll heavily tip the large screen lovers in its favour because of proven its quantitative and qualitative prowess.
Finally the S series meets a dual primary camera sensor
The cameras department presents us with a rare opportunity to say that the Galaxy S9+ features something new compared to its predecessor. It was somewhat of a surprise that both the Galaxy S8/S8+9 completely missed out on a dual camera sensor but not this time as Samsung’s taken an Apple like approach; the bigger variant gets a dual camera setup while the smaller has to make do with just a single sensor. That brings us to the S9+’s 12 + 12 MP dual primary sensor with superb camera features that includes dual-pixel PDAF, OIS and an LED flash amid numerous other customary features. That gives an already proven beast even more prominence in smartphone cameras. The selfie sensor stands at a respectable amount on 8 MP which ensures that the cameras department, although surprisingly not featuring dual primary sensor which has become a norm in flagships nowadays, fulfills your plate with lots of proven quality.
6GB RAM for all variants
The hardware department brings subtle differences between the Galaxy S9+ and the Galaxy S8+. Some of the improvements made by the S9 are not even significant to the common man like improvement in its GPU etc. and we’re sure they won’t do much to put a smile on the faces of tech-savvy users out there as well. What really matters to the public is the smartphone featuring a powerful hybrid octa-core processor with variant dependent internal storage. 6 gigs RAM stands at a constant for all the variants which size-up at 64, 128 or 256GB which wasn’t the case with the S8+ which used to offer 4GB RAM for the 64GB internal storage variant and 6GB for the 128GB one with 256 gigs completely falling out of the picture. That results in uncompromising performance yet again which is something that’s becoming synonymous with many other Samsung phones out there in the market.
Other excellent features the S9+ inherits from its predecessor include a responsive, rear-mounted fingerprint scanner that no longer resides at the side of the dual primary sensor. It now resides underneath it which is a much better location in our opinion. Other noteworthy features to talk about are USB type-C, Quick Charge 2.0, region dependent Qi wireless charging, Bixby virtual assistant like Apple’s Siri and the now customary Samsung feature known as the Iris Scanner that gives you even more secure unlocking and other options.
The smartphone’s battery remains at 3500 mAh which classified as a beefy amount while the external memory card-slot can now accommodate memory up to 400 gigs compared to the 256 gigs offered by the Galaxy S8+. For now, the colour schemes of the S9+ include black, blue, grey and purple but we’re sure that you’re going to see newer additions to them as time goes by and Samsung looks for newer ways to keep the masses interested in the S9+.
Galaxy S9+ pros:
- Aesthetically pleasingly built with premium build materials
- A 1440p Infinity Display is one of its stand-put features
- Finally, an even more powerful dual camera sensor
- 6GB RAM
- All modern-day smartphone features
Galaxy S9+ cons:

With the iPhone X, Apple’s back to those days which cannot be labeled as a surprising move by any means. One of the most widely reported rumors prior to the smartphone’s release was that the new iPhones would definitely feature an all-glass build. It wasn’t confirmed whether all three new releases would go that way but that has indeed turned out to be the case. All the new iPhones feature a dual-glass panel design that simply resonates premium-ness.
Another of the rumours that have indeed turned out to be true is that the iPhone X would feature a tad thicker build than the previous iPhone 7s. By a tad, we mean that the smartphone features a 7.7mm width and a 174g weight. That’s amazing considering the fact that the iPhone X also features improved IP68 certified dust and waterproofing as well as an improved battery over its predecessors.
We’re talking about a completely bezel-less display that stretches all the way from the top of the smartphone’s front panel to all the way down to its speaker grills and USB type-C port. Dissecting its details, we have a 5.8 inches Super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen with 428ppi pixel density. The massive display allows the device to feature a whopping 82.9% screen to body ratio which is a bit lower than what we expected.
The screen’s 428ppi pixel density allows an 1125p HD resolution that seems a bit odd as we’re more used to seeing 1080p or 1440p displays come 2017. What certainly is a given is that the smartphone produces graphics of the highest order that look simply breathtaking atop the gigantic display upfront. Due to its bezel-lessness, the smartphone contains its size, stays relatively small and compact while on the other hand, also offers a pretty big display.
While you may have heard of the aforementioned features before, what you haven’t heard of is that the smartphone’s secondary 7 MP sensor is in-fact a 3D camera. As has always been the case with Apple adding something that hasn’t been seen before, the front camera now possesses the portrait mode capability as well like the device’s primary sensor. We’ll reveal the major reason for this added technology to the selfie sensor in just a while.
With the iPhone X, the fastest has definitely gotten even faster. Powered by a similar but improved hexa-core processor with 3GB RAM, the built-in iOS 11 will breeze its way through the most demanding of processing tasks. The addition of Apple’s A11 Bionic further speeds-up processing as the chip set is optimized for heavy applications, machine learning, graphics intensive etc. applications.
The smartphone either comes in a 64 or 256GB internal storage variant with expectedly no external card-slot present. As was the case with the previous iPhone 7s, the headphone jack has gone for good while dual-stereo speakers allow vastly improved sound quality and loudness.
Now, time for why the iPhone X’s selfie sensor features much improved prowess; that’s attributed to the fact that Apple has ditched Touch iD with the iPhone X and instead, a supreme facial recognition or Face iD system is used to seamlessly unlock your iPhone. The rumors of a front-mounted or underneath display embedded Touch iD have finely been put to rest once and for all.
USB type-C v3.0 ensures rapid data transfer between the iPhone X and other devices while Fast Charging technology has also seen improvement with the smartphone now being able to generate 50% battery charging within 30 minutes of time. Speaking of charging, another fascinating addition the iPhone X is wireless charging. While it’s a feature to cherish, its applications for a Pakistani user are yet to be known.
About its colour schemes, the smartphone comes in both Apple’s famed Space Grey and Silver.
Sadly for the case with Pakistan, we haven’t yet seen an official store here come 2017 which leads us with much higher prices. With the existing price trends of the iPhone, it’s fair to say that the smartphone would cost as much as 110-130,000 rupees upon its arrival here which is simply and utterly mind-boggling. Furthermore, we expect the iPhone X to land somewhere in between mid-October to early November 2017 in Pakistan as newly launched iPhones do take a couple of months to reach our shores.

Product Description
After months and months of speculation that involved various names, features, dos and don’ts, Apple’s September 12th Keynote event brings us to the much awaited release of the 2017 iPhones. As previously stated, Apple indeed released three iPhones this year for the first time in their history with two of the iPhones being customary upgrades upon their predecessor while the third features their special 10th anniversary addition release with a mystery name that has now been confirmed as well. Ladies and gentlemen, behold the iPhone X (pronounced as the iPhone 10).Back to the times of the iPhone 4
The iPhone 4 was the first time when Apple moved from metallic build materials to a dual-glass panel design that was an excellent hit at its time. That was primarily because of the added premium-ness added by the glass to the smartphone that probably was never seen before as most smartphones docked at metallic build materials and aluminum uni bodies at that time.
As was promised by the rumour mill, we have a completely bezel-less front panel
All rumours aside, something that popped-up with the highest intensity during the entire iPhone X saga was the fact that the smartphone would feature little to no bezels at all. Samsung’s release of the Galaxy Note 8, S8/S8+ and the subsequent case manufacturer plus screen protector leaks further escalated those rumours. It was only a matter of time before all that turned into reality as the iPhone X features exactly what was predicted months ago. Due to its bezel-lessness, the smartphone contains its size, stays relatively small and compact while on the other hand, also offers a pretty big display.
3D cameras and a portrait mode for your secondary sensor
The cameras department of the iPhone X presents another big change to what we’re used to seeing from the Cupertino Giants. The smartphone features a dual 12 MP primary camera with technologically improved 2x optical zoom, phase detection auto focus, OIS and a dual-tone LED flash. One of the two sensors is a telephoto sensor while the other is a wide-angled one (as was the case with the previous iPhones and the iPhone 8 Plus). Your craze with the portrait mode is likely to regain momentum while the camera’s claim to be the best in the business has also taken a huge hike upwards.
The fastest smartphone in the world just got even faster!
After the advent of the Galaxy Note 8 and the Galaxy S8, a-lot of comparisons were made between them and the previous iPhones. Aesthetics and exteriors aside, none of the latest 2017 releases couldn’t beat the iPhone 7 Plus when it came to performance and speed.

About its colour schemes, the smartphone comes in both Apple’s famed Space Grey and Silver.
Expected launch date and price
Last but not the least, this is the segment that people mostly care about; the iPhone X is Apple’s most expensive smartphone ever with the device seeing a launching price-tag of $999. That roughly equates to a massive 106,000 rupees. Don’t get too excited just yet, if you even were, because this pricing is only meant for those countries where official Apple Stores are present.
